Night Blooming Cirrus, I know what you are thinking, and no, its not the title of the newest Scarlett Johansson movie, it’s the name of the ever so scrumptious fruit better known as Dragon Fruit. We cannot wait for you to taste this delectable fruit on our very own garden. Of course the fruit and all other veggies and eggs are complimentary to your stay at our ranch, we wouldn’t torture you like that! Our Dragon Fruit or “Night Blooming Cirrus” cactus starts typically blooming in June. We figured out that we get a lot more dragon fruit if we hand pollinate the gorgeous night blooms, so that is exactly the plan of action. Once you step onto our beautiful ranch for your getaway you will be engulfed by the scent that is so delicate. All the while being greeted by enormous white flowers that are unbelievably beautiful (especially when the moon is big and bright). When you visit us this summer be sure to ask us if any of ours our blooming and then go on a night hike and check them out. If you want, we will show you how to hand pollinate the too and you can help us out!
